Insurance

One of the simplest ways to pay for dental care is through an insurance plan. Because there are numerous plans and providers, we are not able to accept all options. However, we try to be as inclusive as possible to better serve the patients in our community.

FaktorDMD participates with a limited number of insurance plans. Plans our office currently accepts are:

• Delta Dental
• Aetna
• Cigna
• MetLife

Our New York office does not accept insurance at the time of visit, but will assist with information when making a claim with your PPO insurance.

We work with PPO plans but not with HMO or DMO.

Please be aware, if treatment is rendered and denied by the patient’s insurance company, it is still the patient’s responsibility to pay the balance of treatment. Likewise, if a patient comes in for an emergency procedure and their insurance does NOT cover the cost of treatment, it still the patient’s responsibility to pay for services rendered. Claims pending through insurance may show a patient has more benefits left than they are anticipating for the rest of the calendar year. It is up to the patient to speak with their insurance company to understand the scope of their benefits, including pending claims. FaktorDMD will not be responsible for broken or missed appointments due to a patient’s discrepancy with their insurance.
